My Deliverer – The testimony

This life-size reproduction of the original oil painting, MY DELIVERER has many testimonies already. This large work created over almost 2 years; from a powerful image I saw as I was worshiping. It reminds us of God’s power in our lives. He fights on our behalf in the hardest of places, when we position ourselves in prayer, and a place of peace through worship and trust.

It illustrates that in our weakness and vulnerability, that God covers and strengthens us, no matter the war zone. The Lord is powerful to save and has no problem shattering the plans of the enemy.

My Deliverer represents much of the truth of God’s character and promises found in Psalm 91 and Psalm 64. The venerable and strong place we reside in when we pray.

I felt quite intimidated by the challenge of representing such majesty and power in paint. It was a powerful and incredibly beautiful of deliverance to see. I saw the image like a colour photograph and sensed God speak to me and say…

My people do not see the fullness of My Majesty and Power – show them!
I AM and I CAN SHATTER THE HARDEST OF THINGS.

I also heard the specific words ‘STAINLESS STEEL’ when looking at the flying metal objects he was shattering in his teeth of lightening. They first looked like flying saucers, but I knew they represent an attack of evil. This is referred to in the bible as fiery darts. Later research revealed that it is impossible to shatter STAINLESS STEEL! It can break if you hard freeze it, but it will not shatter. The Lord was showing me that HE CAN DO WHAT MAN CANNOT.

Jesus is represented as the lion of Judah; a strong protector and invincible King – the only One who can deliver us. The Holy Spirit (represented as the dove), hovers above the faithful one in prayer, sheltering and giving council/wisdom. A golden line flowing down from the heavenlies represents supernatural STRENGTH pour out over those who turn to God in times of trouble.

All provision trough the act of faith – PRAYER.

This is a vision demonstrates a God who goes BEFORE us and is responsive to our plights. I saw this before our world turned upside down in 2020. I experienced a tremendous urgency to complete this image. So much so, I took tremendous financial risk and leased a studio to complete my work.

And so, as you meditate on this vision, please trust that God WILL deal with the injustice of our day and troubles of your heart. I believe He is using courageous and righteousness men and women to partner with His supernatural hand to upset many plans of the enemy. We will see God reveal his faithfulness and Majesty more and more as we step into stronger faith positions and learn to trust more. Take heart and stand firm in truth and be courageous to share that truth when He gives opportunity.

Safety of Abiding in the Presence of God

PSALM 91
He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High
Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
²I will say of the Lord, “He is my refuge and my fortress;
My God, in Him I will trust.”

³Surely He shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler
And from the perilous pestilence.
⁴He shall cover you with His feathers,
And under His wings you shall take refuge;
His truth shall be your shield and buckler.
⁵You shall not be afraid of the terror by night,
Nor of the arrow that flies by day,
⁶Nor of the pestilence that walks in darkness,
Nor of the destruction that lays waste at noonday.

⁷A thousand may fall at your side,
And ten thousand at your right hand;
But it shall not come near you.
⁸Only with your eyes shall you look,
And see the reward of the wicked.

¹⁴“Because he has set his love upon Me, therefore I will deliver him;
I will set him on high, because he has known My name.

I will be with him in trouble;
I will deliver him and honor him.
¹⁶With long life I will satisfy him,
And show him My salvation.”

I am so excited to see the vision exactly as I saw it now on canvas. That is a miracle to me. I never dreamed art could be this way until I stepped into faith in the supernatural of God. It’s so amazing and I never take it for granted. God is truly astounding when he turns out normal into something extra-ordinary.
